Tänak to Represent Go Fast in Rally Sweden

Ott Tanak is filling Matthew Wilson's seat for the Go Fast team at this week's Rally Sweden, the second World Rally Championship (WRC) event of the season.

Go Fast, an energy drink brand, is sponsoring a two-car team with drivers Henning Solberg and Wilson, but the latter was recently injured in training.

“This will be my first time on snow for a while and it takes a while to get fully comfortable with the conditions. But we should be more comfortable here than we were in Monte Carlo so it should be easier for us,” Tänak told WRC on Thursday. “It’s important for us to finish so first we need to understand where our pace is. If it’s competitive, then for sure we can try and push.”

Tänak, who came in second in last year's Super 2000, is racing for M-Sport alongside codriver Kuldar Sikk.
