Black Nights Film Festival Hosts European Film Awards in Tallinn
Hosting the European Film Awards ceremony next week, the 14th annual Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF) kicks off today with the Finnish film, "Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale.“
Featuring 220 films from 72 countries in ten days, this year's festival sets its focus on Finnish film.
The grand prize, sponsored by the city, is 10,000 euros and an Estonian-made glass sculpture. The city of Tallinn put up roughly 65,000 euros to support the event.
