The festival first took place in 2009 and aims to bring beauty, art and music to Tallinn's busy days.

Preparations for the festival started on Tuesday and all 31 gardens can be experienced in their full bloom as they grow and develop until August 28.

In addition to the display, the festival feature an entertainment program.

The Towers' Square is located on the edge of the Tallinn Old Town by Rannamäe and Nunne streets. The Square owes its name to the towers of the Town Wall facing the plaza.
