Curator Gunnar Andersson will be talking about the birth of the exhibition “Vikings: Life beyond the Legend," including the choices and decisions behind the compilation of the exhibition, how it was made, what sort of exciting things were left unexposed and what we learned about the Viking era by creating the exhibition.

15th International Contemporary Music Festival "Afekt"

The festival's composers are George Friedrich Haas, a living classic of spectral music from Austria, and Estonian Toivo Tulev; its central theme is visual music theater. The 15th "Afekt" festival is a continuation of the Estonian Composers' Festival.

Permanent exhibition "Echo of the Urals"

This well-thought-out exhibition is dedicated to the indigenous Finno-Ugric peoples lacking statehood who inhabit an immense swath of land from ranging from Scandinavia and the Baltic Sea region in Northern Europe to the Taymyr Peninsula and Yenisei River in Siberia.
