Riigi Kinnisvara and the Union of Estonian Architects have announced the winners of the European IT agency headquarters design competition. First place took home a 30,000 euro prize.

The IT agency's new building is designed by DAGOpen and LÜNK Architects (Jaan Kuusemets, Üllar Ambos, Pille Noole, Ioannis Lykouras and Erko Luhaaru). The project is called “Turing”.

The second place went to Karli Luik from AB Kontekst for “Plateau”.

Third place went to SALTO AB for “Bastion” (Ralf Lõoke, Maarja Kask ja Martin McLean).

The competition aimed to find the best architectural and functional solution for the new European IT agency headquarters to be build in Tallinn.

Riigi Kinnisvara, the state's real estate holding, will now organize a tender to find a developer.

The agency will employ around 100 people. It will be located in northern Tallinn, on Vesilinnu street. The building should be completed by the end of 2017.
