Starting this November, ERR News, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, will publish a monthly overview of the most important Estonian events abroad.

Trad.Attack! that has recently been awarded with three Estonian Ethno Music Awards ends its four-week European tour on November 7. The band has already performed in Italy, the Czech Republic, and Germany, and participated in renowned world music fair Womex that took place in Budapest, Hungary. Performances in Poland, Lithuania, and Latvia still lie ahead. In 2016, the band will give concerts in the Netherlands, South-Korea, and Canada.

On 5 November, Trad.Attack! will perform in Warsaw, Poland, together with legendary Polish band Warsaw Village Band that one could also see and hear at Viljandi Folk Music Festival last summer. Trad.Attack! and Warsaw Village Band met at a festival in Poland in December 2014, and this acquaintance led to a desire to cooperate.

Trad.Attack! will end its tour in Riga, where the band performs at the longest-running world music festival in Latvia – Porta – on November 7.

The band will be back in Estonia on November 11 to warm up legendary Russian rock band Mumiy Troll.

The band members note that the beginning of Trad.Attack! has been extremely rapid and tempestuous, and thanks to the agents, 2016 will be even busier for them. Already in January, Trad.Attack! will perform at the biggest talent festival Eurosonic in the Netherlands. A concert at the showcase festival in South Korea, and a tour in Canada have also been confirmed.

The tour details of the band can be seen on the website of Trad.Attack! here.

The European tour of the band has been supported from the application round of the Ministry of Culture's “Estonian culture in the world” program.
