The Ministry of Culture has made a call for applications to the first round of the 2015 "Estonian culture in the World" grant competition. The deadline is January 31.

The aim of the grants is to foster cross-cultural relations, introduce Estonia to the global arena, and create opportunities for Estonian authors, cultural and creative entrepreneurs to reach the international audience.

The grants fund participation in important international cultural events (including fairs, presentations and forums), as well as the organization of concerts, performances, exhibitions and festivals abroad.

The total budget of the projects submitted for funding must exceed 4,000 euros. The grants range from 1,500 to 75,000 euros.

The grants will not fund cultural projects for expatriates. These are funded by a separate program.
