The artist application round and delegates’ registration with a special “early bird” rate of 100 euros for Tallinn Music Week 2016 is now open. The eight edition of Tallinn Music Week will take place in Tallinn, Estonia from March 28 to April 3, 2016.

Applications can be submitted and delegate's passes purchased at www.tmw.ee. TMW 2016 artist application round is open until November 1 and full line-up announced in the beginning of February. “Early Bird” offer for the delegate’s pass also runs until November.

Tallinn Music Week (TMW) is an annually held music industry conference and showcase festival gathering an impressive number of regional and worldwide musical talent and industry players since 2009. This year TMW once again aims to bring around 900 music industry professionals, over 200 regional and international acts and an audience of around 25,000 to the capital of Estonia.

The festival’s main musical program, taking place from March 29 - April 2, will offer a multi-genre mix of around 200 acts from the Baltics, across Europe and beyond. The program is put together on the basis of artist submissions by a broad team of local music experts. Applications from all music genres and scenes are welcome.

The festival’s role as a significant platform for emerging acts around the world has grown steadily. TMW 2015 received an all-time record number of nearly 1,000 applications from 39 countries, from which over 80 international artists from 26 countries were confirmed to perform to an audience of around 25,000. Among the acts who have successfully tested their breakthrough potential at TMW and moved on to bigger stages are Danish dark rockers Get Your Gun and Belarusian cold-wave group Super Besse, to mention a few, whilst more established acts like Danish electro extraordinaires Rangleklods, Latvian Instrumenti and Finnish indie rockers French Films have secured a solid local fanbase and found their way back to the region on several occasions. Among the most notable acts who have performed at the festival are Vashti Bunyan (UK), Public Service Broadcasting (UK), Motorama (RU), Kate Boy (SWE) and many more.
