Green Day to Play Tallinn on Midsummer
US rock band Green Day will give a concert at Tallinn's Song Festival Grounds on June 25, a day after the Midsummer holiday, the biggest beer-drinking celebration of the year in Estonia.
A limited number of tickets will go on sale in Estonia, Finland, Latvia and Lithuania on February 11, reported uudised.err.ee.
Green Day emerged from the punk rock scene in California in 1987. The four-piece group has sold around 70 million albums and it has won five Grammy awards. Its past hits include "21 Guns," "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," "American Idiot" and "Basket Case."
