TV Tower Offers New Way to Get High
The Tallinn TV Tower, the tallest building in Estonia, has opened a new attraction whereby visitors can take a death-defying, outdoor stroll atop the structure's observation section at a height of 175 meters.
The participants are required to sign a release form before starting the 100-meter walk. A safety line is then attached to each visitor, who must move in a circular fashion to complete the route, ETV reported.
“We are unique in the sense that no northern European towers this high offer a chance to go outside at all and we are the only one in this area offering such an opportunity,” the TV Tower's director Rinna Roosipuu said.
Visitors are taken in groups of four. The minimum age is 13 and participants must weigh between 40 and 140 kilograms. The windy walk costs 13 euros.
