Janet Jackson to perform in Tallinn
It was announced on Tuesday that the multiple Grammy Award-winner and pop icon Janet Jackson will give a concert in the Estonian capital, as part of European leg of her international tour.
Jackson, who had been relatively out of limelight in recent years, has achieved a successful comeback this autumn.
Her first studio album in seven years, “Unbreakable”, produced by old collaborators Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, recently debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, marking Jackson’s seventh chart-topper and making her just the third act to achieve number 1 albums in each of the last four decades. Among female pop stars, just Barbra Streisand and Madonna have more number one albums.
Jackson’s European tour will kick off in the UK in March and will reach Estonia on April 3, when she will perform at the Saku Suurhall Arena.
A sister of legendary Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson has sold over 160 million records worldwide and won 6 Grammy Awards.
