According to the results of a survey carried out by the Salary Information Agency, Estonian companies' employees are forecasting a 3.8-percent increase in salaries by October, meaning that the median net salary should increase to 830 euros per month.

Estonian employees' median net salary was 800 euros in April of this year. A year prior, median net salaries totaled 768 euros per month, meaning that the year-on-year increase totaled 4.2 percent.

Employees' median pay expecations, however, grew 9.1 percent on the year — from 1,100 to 1,200 euros per month.

The survey was carried out in May of this year and involved interviews with a total of 10,773 employees, 1,829 job-seekers as well as representatives of 380 organizations.

The agency conducts such a survey twice a year — in the spring, and once again in the fall.
