A strike by a German public sector union at Munich Airport has forced Estonian national airline Nordica to cancel all Wednesday, April 27 flights on its Tallinn-Munich route.

"Due to the strike announced by the German union for the public sector ‘ver.di’ affecting ground handling, passenger care, check-in and security services and, partly, a section of the fire brigades in German airports including Munich Airport, Nordica has cancelled Tallinn-Munich and Munich-Tallinn flights on the 27th of April,” the airline reported on its website and Facebook page, adding that they would be contacting all ticket-holders for today’s flights.

Nordica added that passengers may contact the airline themselves either via email at info@nordica.ee or via telephone at 19090 (domestic) or +372 664 2200 (international).
