Investment firm Infortar’s subsidiary Trilini Energy is offering to buy out minority shareholders’ stake in the Estonian natural gas importer and reseller Eesti Gaas.

The price offered is €0.669, which is what they had paid for the stakes of major shareholders Fortum Heat and Gas, Gazprom, and Itera Latvija, Infortar said.

After numerous minority shareholders expressed the wish to sell their interests in Eesti Gaas, Infortar made the offer.

Trilini Energy last acquired Eesti Gaas stock taking over a 51% majority stake previously owned by Fortum Heat & Gas. It acquired the shares on March 30.

Buy-out offers at the same price followed. The remaining major shareholders likewise accepted the offer. In May Trilini bought out Gazprom’s 37% stake, and Itera Latvija's 10% this way.

At present Trilini Energy owns just above 98% of Eesti Gaas.
