The Tallinn circuit court on Friday dismissed a claim against former foreign minister Keit Pentus-Rosimannus (Reform) in the civil case concerning the insolvency of the road transport company Autorollo, owned by her father.

The circuit court didn’t uphold a decision made earlier by a first tier court and issued a new ruling. It rejected the claims of OÜ Autorollo trustees Martin Krupp and Katrin Prukk against Siim Roode, Keit Pentus-Rosimannus, and the law office NJORD Advokaadibüroo OÜ, according to which the defendants would have had to pay in excess of €120,000 plus penalties.

The case was on trial for the second time, as in April the Supreme Court partially returned the Autorollo case to the district court for review.

The Harju County court found in summer 2014 that then foreign minister Keit Pentus-Rosimannus was not connected to the bankruptcy of her father Vaino Pentus’ road transport company Autorollo, but an appeals court at the end of June 2015 turned the bankruptcy claim partly against Pentus-Rosimannus, a decision which she and the other defendants successfully appealed.
