A Lufthansa plane on the way from Tallinn to Frankfurt had to turn around and land again after a bird strike. The incident occurred shortly after take-off. Nobody was injured.

The aircraft was taking off at 6:25 a.m. on Wednesday when it hit a bird. The pilots decided to turn the plane around and land again in Tallinn.

After the landing the aircraft was inspected. At no point had there been any danger to the passengers and the crew, and the plane eventually left Tallinn for Frankfurt at 7:04 a.m., Tallinn Airport told ERR.
