The new government coalition is planning on cutting the basic exemption for home loan interest from 1,200 to 300 euros per year.

This limit has already been reduced repeatedly in previous years.

The Center Party, Social Democrats (SDE) and IRL revealed the incoming coalition government's tax package on Thursday evening, the more exact details of which are expected to continue being revealed on Friday.
