Exports to US Double
Estonian exports to the United States have grown dramatically since last year, according to a Eurostat report released today.
From January to June, Estonia exported 414 million euros worth of goods to the US, compared to 182 million euros in 2010.
Imports have also grown. In the first six months of the year, Estonia imported goods valued at 101 million euros, compared to 41 million euros the year before.
EU countries make up 17 percent of the US imports.
The largest European exporter was Germany, accounting for 34.9 billion euros worth of goods to the US.
