Enterprise Estonia's tourism development wing predicts the number of Russian tourists flowing into the capital and boosting the Estonian economy this holiday season will exceed their last year's projection.

Last year, the organization had predicted an increase of 15,000 tourists this December and January, bringing the total to 80,000. Now the prediction has grown to 100,000, reported Eesti Päevaleht.

Most accommodation establishments are already booked and Enterprise Estonia's representative in Moscow, Ilona Kbejan, says interest toward Estonia is growing.

In related news, it was reported yesterday that Enterprise Estonia pulled an online campaign for the Russian market following criticism that it was not appropriate in the way it depicted either Russian Federation tourists or Estonia.
