Tele2 Continues to Lose Customers
Mobile phone service provider Tele2 continues to lose customers, with 15,600 numbers lost in 2013, while both rivals Elisa and EMT managed to attract new clients.
Finnish-owned Elisa registered 12,800 new numbers while EMT had to settle for 2,800, the Technical Surveillance Authority said in a press release today.
On a month-by-month basis, Tele2 has lost the most for13 straight months in December.
Comparing 2012 figures, EMT is the biggest gainer as the company lost 6,500 numbers that year, having lost 21,800 in 2011. Elisa attracted 22,700 numbers in 2012, while Tele2 lost 16,100 that year.
