Finnair Schedules Special Tallinn-Helsinki Flights Amid Strike
Amidst an airline workers strike, Finnair said on December 8 that it would reboot its Tallinn-Helsinki route until the dispute is resolved with two special flights that are not in the regular schedule.
There will be one round-trip flight before noon and another in the evening, said Finnair's Baltic sales director Guerman Tyvoniouk. Finnair asked passengers departing from Estonia to make sure that their transferring flights have not been cancelled.
The cabin crew workers strike began November 30. Finnair has kept 35 percent of scheduled flights operational and has assisted 40 percent of its regular customers.
