Northern Tallinn to get new shopping center (1)
Nordecon and Arsenal Centre OÜ have signed a 7-million-euro deal to convert an old, tsarist era red-brick Arsenal arms factory on the corner of Erika and Tööstuse streets into a modern shopping and business center.
In the first stage of construction the Arsenal Center will have nearly 15,000 square meters of office and commercial space for 35 shops and service providers, including a 2,200 square meter Selver supermarket, as well as five cafeterias and restaurants.
Over the next 12 months three old factory buildings will be connected into one shopping center with a total area of 4.4 hectars. The center will have an open-air atrium in the middle and several car parks.
