Debt Between Businesses More than Halves in 6 Months
According to figures from financial information company Krediidiinfo, the amount of debt between businesses in Estonia has dropped from 105 million to 47 million euros in the first six months of the year.
Private sector debt to the state also declined, from 65 million to 49 million euros, in the first two quarters, the company said in a press release today.
Businesses dealing in finance and services decreased their debt the fastest, on average by more than 85 percent, while those working in agriculture, food and housing were at the forefront of repaying their debts to the state.
The figures are based on an analysis of 63,616 active companies.
