Tax Board Reveals 63 Million in Undeclared Taxes
Sixty-three million euros in taxes was left undeclared and unpaid at the end of 2010, according to the Tax and Customs Board.
Priority checkups were carried out in the fuel-, construction-, scrap-metal- and forestry sectors.
Eighty-nine percent of inspections identified tax law breach, of which 70 percent were VAT violations. The two other biggest problems were the use of fictitious invoices and undeclared "envelope" wages.
