Residential Real Estate Prices Continue to Grow Significantly (1)

In the second quarter, the dwelling price index increased 3.7 percent compared with the first quarter and 8.1 percent compared with the second quarter of last year.

Apartment prices increased by 3.8 percent while house prices increased by 3.4 percent since the first quarter, according to a new report from Statistics Estonia.

Compared with Q2 of 2012, apartment prices rose 9.2 percent and house prices 4.8 percent.

Apartment prices increased by 9.6 percent in Tallinn, 11.1 percent in areas adjoining Tallinn as well as in Tartu and Pärnu, and 3.1 percent elsewhere in Estonia.
