Microloan Company Receives €1.3 Million Injection

Peer-to-peer microloan outfit Isepankur has announced a name change to Bondora and a 1.3 million euro investment.

German venture capital fund Global Founders Capital has pledged 1.1 million euros for a 15 percent stake in the company, Postimees reported today, adding that another 200,000 has been invested by clients and owners.

CEO Pärtel Tomberg said the company is looking for more investments this year, and has expanded from three or four people to a staff of 30 in a year, adding that the company has 80,000 registered users on four markets.
