New commercial vehicle registrations in Estonia up 23% on year
Altogether 3,580 new commercial vehicles were registered in Estonia during 2015, a 22.7 percent bigger number than in 2014.
In all member states of the EU taken together the annual rate of growth was 12.4 percent, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) said.
In December 2015, EU demand for new commercial vehicles registered a solid increase of 14.8 percent, totaling 191,826 units over the month and marking one year of consecutive growth.
The EU market for commercial vehicles rose for the third year in a row in 2015 and 2,079,322 commercial vehicles were registered in the EU during the year. Spain showed the most significant increase – 36.4 percent. Of major markets, the UK followed with an annual growth of 16.7 percent and Italy with 13.2 percent.
