Valdo Kalm to take helm at Port of Tallinn
The supervisory board of Estonia's state-owned Port of Tallinn on Thursday elected Valdo Kalm the new chairman of the management board.
Kalm will take up the appointment on March 1.
Kalm's experience as a long-time top-level executive of an international company makes him well suited to lead one of Estonia's most successful state-owned companies, chairman of the supervisory board Aare Tark said.
"Speaking to Valdo Kalm's advantage was his long management experience obtained in one of Estonia's largest companies that has changed a lot over time, as well as his recognized unblemished business background, good analytic ability and strong strategic thinking," Tark said.
