Estonian Air Cancels 18 Flights, 2 Planes in Unscheduled Maintenance
The national carrier Estonian Air canceled 18 flights yesterday and today due to technical problems with aircraft software.
“Two aircraft are currently in unscheduled maintenance,” Ilona Eskelinen, a spokesman for the company, said today.
Flights to and from Vilnius, St. Petersburg, Oslo and Stockholm have been canceled, and passengers are being rerouted through other flights, the company said on its website.
Flights to and from Brussels and Amsterdam have been combined as one flight.
The problem is connected to updating aircraft software.
Estonian Air has asked all passengers who have booked flights with the company to check their website for up-to-date information.
