The outgoing government today decided to pay construction company Nordecon 1.43 million euros from its reserves after arbiters sided with the company in a row over the reconstruction of the popular Seaplane Harbor museum, the government said today.

Nordecon filed an action for 2.4 million euros for the delayed payment for their work on restoring a old seaplane hanger into the museum, but the tribunal decided on a smaller sum of 1.5 million euros. Essentially it was a row over the price and volume of work done on the project after costs spiraled out of control.

The Seaplane Harbor Museum opened in 2012 and has so far attracted more than 600,000 visitors.
