Tchaikovsky Orchestra to Play Two Concerts
The world's biggest symphony orchestra is coming to Tallinn and Tartu next week.
The Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra, directed by Vladimir Fedoseyev, returns to Estonia after nearly a 35-year break, ETV reported.
They will play Beethoven and - the namesake of the orchestra - Tchaikovsky in Tartu's Vanemuine Concert Hall on December 3 and in Tallinn's Nokia Concert Hall on December 4.
The orchestra, also called the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra, was founded in 1930. Fedoseyev took the helm in 1974.
