Price of Christmas Trees Steady
With only a week to go, sales of Christmas trees are picking up.
A Christmas tree merchant told ETV that this year people have been buying their trees earlier than usual. “People are probably realizing that if you start your search on the December 24 you won’t be too spoiled for choice,” the merchant said.
The cost of trees has seen no significant increase in the past few years. A meter of spruce, the popular choice, will set you back around 10-11 euros. A fir tree could cost in the 60-70 euro range.
According to ETV, people tend to ask for trees grown in the wild but normally settle for nursery grown trees as they are bushier.
