Estonian Air CFO Leaves Executive Board
National carrier Estonian Air announced that their board will continue with two members after Wade Stokes's three-year contract expired this week.
Stokes will continue to fulfil the function of chief financial officer as a consultant until spring of next year.
He is presiding over several ongoing projects, such as approval of the restructuring plan submitted to the European Commission.
Stokes became CFO in September 2011, three months after hired gun Tero Taskila was brought in as CEO.
After Taskila was ejected in November 2012, there was some speculation that others could follow, but Stokes was retained under new austerity boss Jan Palmer.
The other two members of the board are Jan Palmer and chief commercial officer Indrek Randveer.
