Booze Producers Pour More for Domestic Market
Estonian producers sold 0.59 million liters of hard alcohol on the domestic market in January, a 61 percent increase compared to the same month of last year, according to data from the Alcohol Producers' Association.
Export figures are leaving them less rosy-cheeked however. The 0.29 million liters sold for the overseas market last month was 5 percent lower than in January 2010, uudised.err.ee reported.
Distilled spirits made up 33 percent of the total value of goods sold for export in January.
