Enterprise Estonia Aims to Bring Even More British Tourists to Tallinn
Enterprise Estonia has launched a two-week travel campaign in the London area, encouraging more Britons to spend their winter holidays in Tallinn.
In the first eight months of this year, 94 percent more tourists British visited Estonia,compared to the same period last year, according to Enterprise Estonia.
Tarmo Mutso, director of the tourism development center at the organization, said that Estonia is successfully gaining foothold on the UK market.
During the campaign Enterprise Estonia will also raffle two round-trips to Tallinn. Winners will fly to the capital on national carrier Estonian Air and receive a night "at a luxurious hotel". In addition, 50 pairs of handicraft mittens will be given out.
The campaign is financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
