Export Revolution Candidates Picked
The international export recruitment and training program organized by Enterprise Estonia has selected 25 companies and future export managers who made the cut for participation in 21 days of training and mentorship over the next year.
The program drew interest from over 500 prospective candidates and 65 companies. The training will begin in April and it is funded from the European Social Fund.
"A year from now, we will be able to speak of even more focused, wiser and more extensive export activity on the part of companies that joined the program,“ said Allar Korjas, head of the export division of Enterprise Estonia.
"Companies were selected based on evaluation of their export potential and motivation."
The Marketing Institute's Anu-Mall Naarits said companies must be credited with sticking with the program and finding themselves suitable export personnel among the candidates in three weeks.
Most of the companies are based in the Tallinn and surrounding Harju County area, with seven from elsewhere, including four from Võru County.
The Export Revolution is a one-year development program that picks 25 Estonian companies with export potential and 25 young jobseekers who are required to have a college degree, speak at least two foreign languages and have some international experience.
