International Breakdancing Festival to Start
The annually held Battle of EST (BOE) – one of the biggest breakdancing festivals in northern Europe – will bring over 100 dancers from 20 countries to Estonia from December 2 to 3.
Participants include breakdance teams that have won internationally acclaimed competitions such as the World of Dance held in US and the UK B-Boy Championship.
In addition to the breakdancing category, participants will also compete in other street dance styles such as popping and hip-hop. According to the organizers, workshops will also be held for dance enthusiasts.
The two-day event, which for the last 11 years has been hosted in Tartu, will this year also take place in Tallinn as part of the European Capital of Culture program.
