Ukrainian foreign minister to visit Estonia this week
Ukrainian foreign minister Pavlo Klimkin is to arrive on an official two-day visit to Estonia on Wednesday.
Klimkin will meet with President Toomas Hendrik Ilves, President of the Riigikogu Eiki Nestor (SDE), and Minister of Foreign Affairs Marina Kaljurand (independent), spokespeople for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday.
The main topics to be discussed in the meetings are relations between Estonia and Ukraine, the situation in Eastern Ukraine, the Ukrainian reform process, and integration with the European Union as well as cooperation in international organizations.
Klimkin will also meet the local Ukrainian community as well as injured Ukrainian soldiers, who arrived in Estonia this week for 21 days of rehabilitation at the Seli health center. The minister will also visit the Ukrainian culture center.
