Narva-1 border crossing point closed 11-3 on Wednesday
Due to repair work in Ivangorod on the Russian side of the border, the Estonian Narva-1 crossing point will be closed from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Police and Boarder Guard Board (PPA) suggests travellers plan their trips accordingly, to avoid waiting in line in Narva.
“Anyone who needs to make it to the Russian Federation at a particular time has to take into account that they need to cross the border before 11 o’clock. We apologize for any inconveniences caused,” Indrek Püvi of PPA’s North prefecture said.
The border crossing point will be closed for both vehicles and pedestrians. After 3 o’clock in the afternoon traffic is expected to resume as usual.
