The Reform Party took the top spot among Estonian political party ratings in April; according to a survey conducted by TNS Emor, 23% of respondents supported the Reform Party.

Reform was followed by the Center Party at 22 percent, the Social Democratic Party (SDE) at 16 percent, the Free Party at 15 percent, the Conservative People’s Party of Estonia (EKRE) at 13 percent, and the Pro Patria and Res Publica Union at seven percent, reported Estonian daily Postimees (link in Estonian).

Compared to March survey results, SDE’s support had risen by two percent and IRL’s by one percent. Support for the Reform and Free Parties remained the same, while support for EKRE had fallen by one and support for Center by three percent.

The TNS Emor survey, which had been ordered by the Baltic News Service, was conducted from April 13-21 via personal and online interviews. A total of 1,105 voting-age citizens between the ages of 18-74 were surveyed.

Results from Turu-uuringute AS, from whom Estonian Public Broadcasting (ERR) orders surveys regarding the popularity of the country’s political parties, differed somewhat.

According to the latter’s results, the Center Party was rated the most popular, earning the support of a full quarter of survey respondents. Following Center were Reform with the support of 21 percent, EKRE with 14 percent, SDE with 13, Free Party with 12, and IRL with 7 percent of voters.
