Columns of NATO vehicles on the move on Estonian roads
As a part of NATO's Operation Saber Strike, columns of US armored combat vehicles and support vehicles will on the move along Estonian roadways today.
The vehicles will be heading from Pärnu to Tapa today, via Central Estonian towns of Paide and Türi, and these columns can be seen throughout the workday, reported ERR's television news.
One column will consist of up to 40 vehicles, and their top allowable speed will be 70 kilometers per hour (approximately 43 miles per hour). Nearly 1,500 US soldiers are currently in Estonia for Operation Saber Strike.
The multinational military exercise, involving a total of nearly 10,000 soldiers from 13 NATO and partner countries, is simultaneously taking place across all three Baltic States.
Saber Strike will conclude with a closing ceremony at Tapa Army Base on June 21.
