Eston Kohver will be released next summer, Russian advocate says
Jevgeni Aksjonov, the Russian advocate of the abducted Estonian internal secret service agent Eston Kohver, predicts a summer release for his client.
Aksjonov said in an interview with Eesti Päevaleht that if everything goes according to plan, Kohver's trial will start in Pskov in four months time.
“I'm confident enough that Kohver will be back home by next summer,” Aksjonov said.
He added that the court proceedings will take up to two months, after which there will be a “silent period”.
“And after the silence, Kohver will suddenly be back in Tallinn,” the advocate said.
