Hiiumaa ferry route served by Harilaid
The Harilaid is the only ferry serving the mainland-Hiiumaa route on Tuesday morning as sea levels are too low for the larger ferries to make the trip.
The Harilaid departed from Heltermaa Harbor at 6:30 a.m. as scheduled and will continue operating on a free schedule.
Low sea levels are currently preventing St. Ola and the Regula from serving the route.
At 8 a.m. on Tuesday, sea levels were measured at -63 centimeters and weather forecasts predict that sea levels will remain low all day.
Vehicles will be loaded onto the Harilaid in order of their arrival at Rohuküla and Heltermaa Harbors, with priority being given to scheduled buses, emergency vehicles, mail trucks and vehicles carrying passengers with disabilities.
