Reform Party enjoys most media citations since spring
Of the four parliamentary parties, the ruling Reform Party received the most mentions in the media in November - an eight-month high.
Their 1,172 mentions was greater than those for IRL (730), the Social Democrats (704) and the Center Party (576), the survey conducted by Meedius and commissioned by ERR found.
The mentions were up from October due to the defection of Eerik-Niiles Kross from IRL to Reform, the appointment of Keit Pentus-Rosimannus as foreign minister, and the fact that generals Ants Laaneots and Johannes Kert joined the party, said Meedius analysis.
IRL also picked up a few new prominent members - Kalle Muuli, Viktoria Ladõnskaja, Andres Arrak - bumping up their mentions count, which is still at a six-month high.
The Meedius surveys have been conducted each month since 2010. The Reform Party usually leads, but this month the edge was particularly big. Only in March 2014 was the party mentioned more times - over 1,800 in that case.
