Ojuland Determined to Bring Case Against Reform Party
MEP Kristiina Ojuland said she is preparing to launch a legal battle against the Reform Party, which ejected her from the party leadership over vote rigging allegations in an internal election in May.
"The court will not hear my case before three months is up and so there is no reason to hurry at the moment. The case is being prepared. There is no pressure to hurry," Ojuland told uudised.err.ee.
"I have a lawyer who is dealing with this and we have met numerous times. We have discussed all kinds of details," Ojuland said, without revealing the lawyer's name, on the grounds that they had not yet signed a contract.
Ojuland said she is not currently considering joining any other party, as a final decision about her membership in Reform will be decided at a congress later this year.
"There is also the fact that I have always been a liberal in principle and I don't see any other party in Estonia at the moment to which I must rush headlong to join," Ojuland said.
