Vice-chairman Peeter Reemann and board member Imre Termonen, of the People's Party of Unity, have decided to leave the party.

Both Reemann and Termonen said they are dissatisfied with the transparency in the party and its board, and with the way that the party is run in general, local weekly Virumaa Nädalaleht reported.

The People's Party of Unity is led by former MEP Kristiina Ojuland and celebrated its first birthday on Saturday.

The party only named 36 candidates for the March 1 elections.
