The Center Party board unveiled its slogan for the March 1 parliamentary elections. The “Teeme teisiti!” translated as “We will do it differently” refers to changes in economic policy.

“If we want a faster pace of economic growth, better salaries and to stop runaway prices we must change the state policy and do things differently than how the (Andrus) Ansip and (Taavi) Rõivas-led Reform Party governments, with IRL and Social Democrat backing, have done,” party chairman Edgar Savisaar said.

The party said it will focus on jobs, salaries, prices, tax and pensions in its run for Parliament.

Savisaar said his party will fight for a progressive tax system and an increase in the minimum monthly salary, which has been a hotly debated topic between all parties.
