Kohver's detention extended until June (4)
The Lefortovo Court in Moscow has extended Estonian Internal Security Service official Eston Kohver's arrest for another two months, until June 5.
The case will be processed by a court in Pskov, where he was allegedly detained by Russian authorities. Estonia maintains he was kidnapped from the Estonian side of the common border.
No date for the beginning of the trial has been set. According to Kohver's state-appointed lawyer, this could happen in May. Neeme Raud, ERR's correspondent in Moscow, said the trial could last three weeks and will be closed.
This is the third time Kohver's detention has been extended. He has been in prison since September 5 last year.
Kohver was due to be interrogated last week, but that was canceled.
