Reform Party, IRL Drop in Monthly Poll
Both coalition parties saw their support decline since a month ago in a TNS Emor monthly poll, but the affects of PM Andrus Ansip's resignation will have to wait for next month.
If parliamentary elections would take place today, the Center Party would receive 27 percent of the votes, up two percentage points compared to last month. The second opposition party, the Social Democrats, increased their popularity by three points to 26.
Both coalition parties dropped three points, with the Reform Party now backed by 21 and IRL by 19 percent of the respondents.
Smaller parties continued to attract a maximum of 2 percent, while the two new party projects are yet to be officially registered and were not an option this month.
The poll was taken between January 29 and February 19. It included 901 respondents with an error rate of 3.19 percent. Emor analyst Aivar Voog said the coalition parties fared much better in the second half.
