Yesterday evening, Gauck visited the countryside estate of Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves, who lived in Germany from 1984 to 1993. The two heads of state are holding an event at the Museum of Occupations today.

Gauck will also meet Prime Minister Andrus Ansip and Archbishop Andres Põder, and visit various companies and an Estonian War of Independence monument.

The main topics of conversation on the agenda will be the economy, security and cooperation in the Baltic Sea region.
